# Garuda Defi

## What is Garuda-Defi?

Garuda DeFi is a decentralized finance protocol built on Terra Classic (LUNC), combining spot trading, liquidity, permissionless DeFi infrastructure, on-chain order books, and leveraged perpetual trading in a unified ecosystem created by Garuda Universe Validator.&#x20;

### The Garuda DeFi Ecosystem

Garuda DeFi combines multiple trading and DeFi primitives into a single protocol:

* **AMM** — Permissionless spot trading and liquidity pools
* **On-Chain Order Book** — Limit orders and price-targeted trading
* **Perpetual Trading** — Leveraged long and short positions
* **Liquidity Vault** — Liquidity infrastructure supporting perpetual markets
* **Permissionless DeFi** — Token, staking, P2P, launchpad and other DeFi applications

These components are designed to complement each other and create a broader decentralized financial ecosystem on Terra Classic.
